Reading the Breeze
Every throw in Waste Basket Arcade Challenge starts with the same question: where is the fan pointing, and how hard is it blowing? A single piece of paper, a bin, and a fan sit on screen. Using a mouse click or touch drag, you set the angle and force of the toss. The fan's direction and speed change between attempts, so a successful shot from one round gives no guarantee for the next. The wind indicator stays visible, letting you plan before releasing.
Three Modes, Three Wind Profiles
Difficulty is expressed through airflow rather than new obstacles. The easiest setting uses a gentle, predictable breeze, which suits players still learning how angle and force interact. Medium mode makes the wind more variable, so each read demands closer attention. The hardest setting brings stronger gusts and stricter scoring conditions. Because the modes differ mainly in wind behavior, improvement in one carries over to the others.
Streaks Over Lucky Shots
Scoring counts consecutive landings. A made shot extends the streak; a single miss resets it to zero. That rule changes how you play. Rather than firing off quick attempts and hoping, you wait for a readable wind and commit to a clean throw. High scores become a personal benchmark, and the gap between a lucky run and a consistent one is easy to see.
Minimal Presentation, Immediate Access
The game runs entirely in a web browser with no installation or account. Desktop and mobile are both supported, and touch input works on tablets and phones. The interface stays uncluttered, and each successful toss gets a visual cue and a subtle sound. The wind indicator is the main piece of information on screen, which keeps attention on the throw itself. Sessions can be as short as a few throws or as long as a practice block.
